In case of the school closing or being closed for any reason (such as bad weather, no water/heating etc), we will take the following actions:

If children are in school when a decision is made to close the school, the school will contact Parents/Carers by the telephone contacts supplied to us. We will also inform the local radio stations noted below.

School Closure: School Closed prior to children attending

We will endeavour to only close the school if it is absolutely necessary. We will also make decisions to close the school as early as possible. At present, the website can only be updated if staff are in school (if staff are in school, the website will be updated).
