We found a wondeful array of talent again-from dancing to singing to jokers!

SPORTS DAY June 22nd 2010


The children were ready...	...the families and the weather were ready - for a great morning of fun and sports!	The Year4s started us off with the running races! (click on the photo for a mini-movie...)

In the Bean&Bucket races, children had to collect their bean bags... (click on the photo for a mini-movie...)	...then race with their partner to the finish line as fast as possible! Explore Learning came back to visit us to congratulate Yrs3&4 for...	...some great stories written recently for a competition. They did some games with us too (click on the photo for minivid)	We were awarded a medal for our super behaviour too!

Redditch First Schools' MUSIC FESTIVAL/ The RNLI visit


The school choir attended a Redditch First Schools Music Festival	It was a great time for all concerned and we were praised for our singing! (click on the photo above to see a movie clip)	Click on the photo above to see a movie clip

The RNLI came in to see us to talk about Beach Safety in March. The lifeguards started by dressing one of our children as a lifeguard - explaining their uniform	Chris demonstrated their lifebelt	Emily became a jetski lifeguard!

'FANCY DRESS' DISCOS: 5 March 2010


Reception & KS1 had their disco 3.15-4.15pm...	...danced their hearts out...	...as you can see! (click on the pic above for video!)

Mrs Yarnold led the dancing later on...	...some relaxed by the lights (for effect of course!)...	...and the girls loved the moves!

We had great food, great music...	...Santa visiting...	...with presents for all!

We unwrapped eagerly!	Then it was silly games - like 'Islands! '	There was dancing of course!

Major Mustard & a different version of 'Cinderella'


Major Mustard entertained us this Christmas with his Traditional version of Cinderella...	...using puppets and a great set!	It was great fun and the children loved it! Thank you so much to Parents and Friends for organising it all!

Z O O L A B


'Zoolab' came in to tell us all about different animals	We found out all about their bodies and how/why they live as they do!	Some animals were not as bad as we thought!

And some we couldn't touch!	Many thanks to Parents & Friends for organising this whole school event!	Click on the hot air balloon to see a clip!

ARTISTIC WINNER!

Some children spent their Summer Holidays (2009) painting for the Junior Painter of the Year competition, with Sightsavers UK and the Royal Academy of Arts. Rosie, from Yr2, was Runner-up in the Infants' section, meaning she was in the top 40 of 15000 entries! Her work is being displayed at the Royal Academy of Arts in London with the other winners from 24 Oct-18 Nov - what an honour! Many congratulations to Rosie! This is her winning piece of art - 'How I See Myself':

30/9/09: Visit from local author: Eamon Reilly


Local author (born in Bromsgrove) Eamon Reilly came to school to share his stories...	...and fire up young imaginations...	The 'crowd' were hooked!

Yr2s-Competition winners!

The school was invitied to take part in the Kingsley College's 'Voices & Visions', producing artwork based on Kandinsky. The work was displayed for 2 weeks and given special recognition!


Textile work by Yr2 won a competition after being displayed at Forge Mill!	Mrs Morris & Mrs Rea collected the certificate & £100 of vouchers!	Congratulations to our budding artists in Yr2!
